Since 1999, Habitat for Humanity of Coffee County (HFHCC) has been on a mission to build more than just homes — we’re building a stronger, more caring community. With the help of volunteers and generous donors like you, we’ve built 26 homes in Enterprise and surrounding areas, providing local families with safe, decent, and affordable housing.
Every home we build is a direct result of kindness from our neighbors. We don’t receive big government grants or large endowments — we rely on donations from people who care about our community.
Your Gift Stays Local
When you donate to HFHCC, you’re not giving to a distant organization — you’re helping your neighbors, right here in Coffee County. You’re helping a mother provide stability for her children. You’re helping a hardworking family finally break the cycle of rent struggles. You’re helping us buy the lumber, nails, roofing, and concrete we need to turn an empty lot into a forever home.
And you’re helping bring people together — volunteers, families, and supporters — who believe that everyone deserves a safe place to live.
How Habitat Works in Coffee County
Families who apply for a Habitat home go through a thoughtful selection process. They must:
- Show a genuine need for safe, affordable housing
- Be willing to partner with us by putting in hundreds of hours of “sweat equity”
- Commit to repaying an affordable mortgage, helping build stability for the long term
We don’t give away houses. We help families help themselves — and we do it with the heart and hands of our local community.
More Than Just Building Homes
At HFHCC, we do more than build new homes. We:
- Renovate and repair existing homes for local residents
- Support families through financial education and empowerment
- Come together after disasters to rebuild and restore hope
- Advocate for affordable housing solutions in our area
And all of it starts with one thing: your support.
